Description

A Mezuzah, fixed at the entrance of our home and at the entrance of every room, is the first design item that greets us. Thanks to its minimalistic and unconventional design, which exudes presence and interprets the ancient Jewish symbol (three colored stripes symbolizing the letter 'Shin' of Shaddai) in a contemporary way – this new Mezuzah connects past, present, and future.

Combined with the durable properties of Corian, the unbreakable brass screw, and ease of use – this Mezuzah can be well-preserved for many years.

Made from Corian.
Created through a unique process where we took Corian offcuts and upcycled them.

Handmade from a material called Corian, which was developed 50 years ago as a surface for demanding work environments, marketed worldwide since 1971, and imported to Israel for approximately 40 years. The primary uses of CORIAN: countertops, sinks, and wall cladding for kitchen, bathroom, and many other residential and institutional applications.

How to attach the Mezuzah case to the doorframe so that it holds securely for a long time?

For doorframes with a rough finish, such as a wall/delicate plaster:
Smooth the surface with sandpaper, wipe off dust with a damp cloth, and finally wipe with a dry cloth. The smoother the surface, and the cleaner it is from dust or holes, the better the Mezuzah will adhere.
Remove the protective cover from the adhesive. Be careful not to touch the adhesive; hold the sides of the Mezuzah and press it onto the doorframe in the desired location. Apply light pressure for about 30 seconds until it adheres well.

For rough natural wood doorframes: It is recommended to lightly sand the surface with sandpaper, then clean off dust with a cloth/paper towel. Remove the protective cover from the adhesive. Be careful not to touch the adhesive; hold the sides of the Mezuzah and press it onto the doorframe in the desired location. Apply light pressure for about 30 seconds until it adheres well.

For smooth doorframes such as lacquered wood/painted metal/stainless steel/glass/Formica:
Clean the surface from grease and dust with a damp cloth and wipe dry. Only after the area is dry can the Mezuzah be attached. Remove the protective cover from the adhesive. Be careful not to touch the adhesive; hold the sides of the Mezuzah and press it onto the doorframe in the desired location. Apply light pressure for about 30 seconds until it adheres well.

General rules:

The brass is a soft material, so it is recommended to gently open the brass screw with a screwdriver wrapped in a wide rubber band.
It is recommended to insert the parchment scroll into the Mezuzah before attaching it to the doorframe.
When inserting the parchment scroll into the Mezuzah case, ensure that the word "Shaddai" faces upwards relative to the Mezuzah's hanging direction.
